Personal Data
- Contact Info: Name, email address, and profile picture (via our authentication provider, Clerk).
- Location Data: Your Singapore postal code and optional condominium/HDB details to match you with nearby users.
- Pet & Home Info: Information about your cats (age, breed, medical needs) and home access instructions required for sitters to perform their services.
Financial Data
Payment information is processed entirely by our secure third-party provider, Stripe. Club Lumo does not directly store your credit card numbers or bank account details on our servers.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected data to:
- Create and manage your account.
- Facilitate bookings, messaging, and reviews between Owners and Sitters.
- Process payments and payouts.
- Display approximate (fuzzed) locations on our search map to protect your privacy while browsing.
- Ensure trust and safety by verifying user profiles.
3. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell or rent your personal data to third-party advertisers. We only share information in the following scenarios:
- Between Users: When a booking is confirmed, we share the Owner's full address and home instructions with the booked Sitter.
- Service Providers: We share necessary data with trusted third parties to run our platform, including Mapbox (for mapping), Stripe (for payments), Clerk (for authentication), and Supabase (for secure data storage).
- Legal Obligations: We may disclose information if required by Singapore law or to protect the rights and safety of our community.
4. Data Security & Retention
We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal data. We retain your information only as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services and comply with our legal obligations.
5. Your Rights
Under the PDPA, you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you and request corrections to any inaccuracies. You may also delete your account and associated data at any time via your dashboard settings or by contacting us.
