1. Strict Sitter Vetting
Not just anyone can join Club Lumo as a sitter. Every applicant undergoes a comprehensive identity verification process and a screening to ensure they understand cat behavior, safety protocols, and emergency procedures. Only approved sitters ever appear in our search results.
2. Privacy-First Location Mapping
Your exact HDB block, condo name, or street number is never shown publicly on our map. We intentionally "fuzz" the map locations by a few hundred meters. Your exact address and home access instructions are only revealed to a sitter *after* a booking is confirmed and paid for.
3. Secure, Cashless Payments
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Owners are charged upfront to guarantee the booking, but sitters only receive their payout directly to their bank account after the sitting period begins. This protects owners from no-shows and sitters from unpaid labor. No awkward cash handoffs required.
4. Transparent Community Reviews
Accountability is everything. After every booking, owners are prompted to leave a review. These reviews cannot be altered by the sitter. Consistently poor ratings or reports of negligence result in immediate removal from the platform.
