Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Club Lumo ("Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Platform.

2. Nature of the Platform

Club Lumo is a marketplace platform that connects cat owners ("Owners") with independent cat sitters ("Sitters") in Singapore. We provide the technology to facilitate connections, bookings, and payments. Club Lumo does not employ Sitters. Sitters are independent contractors who set their own rates, schedules, and service terms. We are not responsible for the performance or actions of any Sitter or Owner, though we mandate community standards.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of Singapore to create an account.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You may not use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

4. Owner Responsibilities

As an Owner, you agree to provide accurate information regarding your cat(s)' health, behavior, and home access instructions. You are responsible for ensuring your home is safe for the Sitter and that sufficient food, litter, and supplies are available for the duration of the booking.

5. Payments and Fees

All payments are processed securely via our third-party payment provider (Stripe). Owners agree to pay the Sitter's listed rate plus a platform service fee at the time of booking. Club Lumo deducts this service fee to maintain platform operations before remitting the balance to the Sitter. All transactions are in Singapore Dollars (SGD).

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law, Club Lumo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to property damage, veterinary bills, injury, or loss of data, arising out of your use of the Platform or interactions with other users.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
